Since 2009, James Ryle, MICHP, has been dedicated to helping clients create positive transformations in their lives. He earned his advanced diploma from the Institute of Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy (ICHP) in Cork, Ireland.
James’s distinctive heart-centered hypnotherapy approach incorporates elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). He is also a certified Professional Practitioner of EFT Tapping, accredited by the Guild of Energists UK.
As a LEVEL 2 practitioner of the innovative BWRT® treatment, James specializes in addressing various forms of trauma, low self-esteem, disordered eating, and anxiety/depression. Learn more about BWRT .
James embodies a sensitivity which makes him easy to talk with. He loves to help people who struggle with normal daily tasks and who suffer from debilitating anxiety and grapple with everyday tasks.

More About James’ Background
James served as the Head of Sports Therapy for the Tibet Women’s Soccer program, an NGO based in the Tibetan refugee community in India. He worked one-on-one with players to elevate their sports performance by overcoming the effects of trauma and developing self-esteem.
James has a special interest in Sports Enhancement Therapy and Mindful Gaming, and a passion for the myriad healing opportunities BWRT® can offer to clients. James is a member of the International Institute for Complementary Therapists.
Another of James’ interests is writing and the book The Camino Provides: A Curious Guide to the Camino del Norte written by James and his wife Cassie, is a deeply insightful memoir of their transformational journey walking across Spain on the Camino de Santiago.
